The inspiration behind the design of Carnmoney's layout stretches back many years, and thousands of miles, to the traditional British golf links. The term "links" generally refers to British golf courses situated on sandy dunes created along the coast by a receding ocean. An unqualified success, the dream of modern inland links has been expertly realized by renowned and talented designer, Les Furber. Natural rolling hills and valley troughs have been intelligently utilized.
