Off-Course Event

Overview

When the Castor Golf Club first opened at its current location in 1966 it did so without irrigation or grass greens. Those short-comings have long since been remedied and the course now boasts watered fairways and elevated bent-grass greens. Ranging in size from 1500 to 2500 square feet, the greens are level and contain few surprises. When the wind is up, however, their small surface area can make them difficult targets. The course plays fairly open with trees a problem in only a few areas.
